Choosing notebooks
Open a laptop in a meeting and people assume you're answering email. Open a notebook and you look like you're listening. Custom notebooks earn their keep in onboarding kits, leadership retreats, conference bags and client meetings, and they stay on a desk or in a bag until the last page is full, with your logo on the cover the whole way.
Size is the first filter. A pocket notebook suits people on job sites and sales calls, while a larger one belongs on a desk and gives you a bigger cover to decorate. Pair the format with how your people actually write. Ruled pages suit most notes, blank pages make designers happy, and anything fancier deserves a look through the listing.
On the cover, decoration can change the whole mood. A subtle pressed logo feels understated and a little expensive, whereas a full-colour print is louder and better for bright brands. Check which method a product uses before you get attached to an idea. Handing these out at a kickoff? A matching pen tucked inside feels considered, and it saves everyone from asking to borrow one.
