Choosing sticky flags
Every sheet is a tiny ad that someone voluntarily sticks to a monitor, a file or a colleague's forehead. Custom sticky notes are a mainstay for realtors, mortgage brokers, schools, pharmacies and offices of every kind, and they're particularly good for anyone who wants their name in front of the staff who handle the paperwork. They also get passed around, which is a bonus that a pen rarely offers.
Printing runs from a small logo in the corner to full-page artwork, so leave enough clean space on the sheet for people to write something. If your logo takes up half the note, it's a flyer, not a note. Pale backgrounds keep the pen visible, and a quiet logo placed along one edge will please the person using it.
Consider the format as well. A small square pad fits a desk drawer, a cube sits out on a counter, and sticky flags are handy for anyone marking up contracts. Sheet count matters when you're comparing prices, since a cheap pad with few sheets runs out in no time. If you're mailing them to clients, a pad's flat shape travels easily in an envelope.
