Choosing blankets
A blanket gets a place on the couch, in the trunk or at the cold end of the rink, and that's a nice long relationship for a corporate gift. Companies order custom blankets for holiday gifting and retirement presents. Schools, charities and teams use them for donor thank-yous, alumni gifts and fundraising raffles. Around here, a useful blanket needs no justification between October and April.
Decide how loud you want your logo to be. A small embroidered mark in the corner feels like a real gift that people will happily leave out in the living room, while a large, centred design works better for team spirit or stadium seats. If the blanket is meant for a client's home, restraint will usually get you more use out of it.
Thickness and softness are hard to judge from a photo, and that's worth keeping in mind if this is going to a senior client. Ordering one decorated sample takes the guesswork out, and you can see how the logo sits. Think about the unboxing as well. Rolled, folded or tied with a ribbon, presentation does a lot of the work on a gift like this.
