Choosing flash drives
Handing over a file is more memorable when it comes on something with your name on it. Photographers, law firms, architects, engineers, real estate teams and training companies all use custom USB drives to deliver finished work or reference material, and the drive tends to stay in a desk drawer or laptop bag where it can be found the next time someone needs it.
Capacity should follow what you're putting on it. A few documents need very little space, while video or high-resolution photos need much more, and there's no point paying for room nobody will use. Check the connector too, because plenty of newer laptops have dropped the older port. A look at what your clients actually use can save some awkward moments later.
The imprint area is small, as you'd expect from something that fits on a keyring. A simple icon is your best option, especially on rounded bodies. Shape can do a lot of the branding work if you'd like something less generic. Not sure which one suits the job? Real people review every request and answer the phone, so ask.
