The Taffeta Ribbon refers the weave. It is a horizontal and vertical weave as opposed to a diagonal weave like cotton twill. It is a crisp, smooth, plain woven fabric made from polyester. It is a more "high end" fabric, suitable for ball gowns, wedding dresses, and interior decoration for curtains or wall coverings.
