About this product
Hand sculpted Sunflower in yellow and aventurine green with sparkling metallic highlights. The interior flower is sculpted using an optic mold before casing in crystal clear glass. The design when viewed in natural daylight produces a three dimensional image of the flower. The most famous rendering of sunflowers are Van Gogh's paintings from the summer of 1888. The paintings were innovative for their use of yellow which was made possible by newly invented pigments. 4" W x 4.75" H
