About this product

The translucent veils of this design are created using a proprietary fuming technique. The interior veils are cased in a globe of crystal clear glass. Dancing with gossamer veils is an ancient art form inspired by the Biblical story of Salome the daughter of the Roman Emperor Herodias. At a celebration of Herod's birthday, the young and beautiful Salome danced for Herod, peeling off each of seven veils, until she was wearing little or nothing. 3" W x 3.25" H
