With super sharp blades get the job done quickly and result in cleanly sliced and grated food. You can interchange for either fine grating or coarser grating of your ingredients. About the cleaning, please be sure to wash it in hot water after rotating the cheese, the cheese will melt in hot water and it's not gonna stay on the rotator, then wash it with a sponge, which will be quite effective. Simply put the food into the hopper and turn the grip in a few seconds to shred or chop.
